Workshops/experiences

Workshops for parents and students to learn about college admissions, financial aid, and health-related careers. These are often led by graduates of our programs that return to their communities to mentor younger students and advise parents.

Learning specialists or teachers for students needing academic remediation (e.g., English language skills, students having difficulty in an academic program)

College campus tours for students to experience college life, interact with students on panels, and participate in experiential learning

Field trips to technology, science, or health-related organizations to foster experiential learning

Career or job-based learning programs (e.g., adult education, internships)
