Key accomplishments in 2025/2026 include:
- Matched endowments to support student scholarships and emergency grants in perpetuity (establish three $100,000 matched endowments at Riverdale High School, Lemoore Community College and Cal State Sacramento) to serve students from low income families in the Central Valley with a priority on first generation college students. Each will generate 10 or more $1,000 grants for educational supplies in perpetuity, to help students stay enrolled and graduate on time. Two endowments are fully funded and are growing.
- $1,000 scholarships annually for 36 Bay Area and Central Valley college-bound high school students who lack computers.
- Expanded access to technology for rural college students, including new loaner laptops and hotspots supporting 100 full-time students over 5 years.
- Extended outreach in Central Oregon, partnering with the Latino Community Association that serves 6,000 students and families.
