Access To Achievement

In 1988, Dr. Marilyn Winkleby, an Associate Professor
of Medicine at the Stanford School of Medicine, founded
SMYSP. In 2005, she founded Access to Achievement
Education Foundation to reach more low-income
students interested in health and scientific careers.
Dr. Winkleby also directs an internationally recognized
scientific group known for its work on social disparities
in health.
